Michaelle Edwards
has lived in Hanalei, Kauai for 14 years (originally from Montana) and has been singing as long as she can remember. Michaelle and Ken Emerson traveled throughout the U.S. before planting their feet in Hawaii where they live and play their wonderful music. Her biggest influences vocally have been Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughn, Nancy Wilson, Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, and Kevyn Lettau who has been her vocal coach for many years.

Tropical Twilight features 11 songs, all but one are newly written yet reminiscent of the 30's and 40's era. The selections run the gamut from jazz to blues to Brazilian to Hawaiian and feature unforgettable arrangements eloquently written and executed by Peter Spraque, guitar virtuoso; Tripp Spraque on sax and flute and Ken Emerson (her local Kauai Duo partner) on Hawaiian Steel Guitar. The music is beautiful, romantic, inspiring, and uplifting...just like Kauai.
